For bootcamp and outdoor trainers
Running a bootcamp: participants only pay once the group goes ahead.
You choose a time, a spot in the park, a price per person and the minimum number of people. Participants sign up for free and only pay once the group goes ahead.

Sound familiar?
How many people will come?
You’re ready in the park and only know at quarter past seven whether it’ll be five or fifteen people.
Refunds when it doesn’t go ahead
If you let people pay up front and then have to cancel, you have to refund everyone. That’s a hassle.
A full group
When the group is full, you want to put the next person on a list instead of saying no.
Tracking class cards
Who still has sessions left? It’s in a group chat or a notebook.
How Gymies handles it
Group classes with a minimum
You choose a price per person and the minimum and maximum number of participants. Participants only pay once the minimum is reached; if the class doesn’t go ahead, nobody has paid.
If the minimum isn’t reached, the session doesn’t go ahead and nobody has paid: nobody needs a refund. If the group is full, people go on the waitlist.
How a group class works →You choose where you teach
In a private studio, a gym, outdoors, at the client’s home or online. Clients see the location before they book.
Paid when booked
A session is only confirmed once it’s paid (iDEAL, card or class pack). No more chasing anyone for money.
Fixed cancellation rules
The same rules apply to every trainer, and the client sees them before booking.
If you cancel a group session yourself while people have signed up, everyone gets everything back; the rules for group classes apply.
Class packs
Sell a pack of, say, 10 sessions. The client pays up front and then books each session with the pack.
You open up the times
You set in your calendar when you teach. Clients only choose from those times, so no more back-and-forth messaging.
Invoices and payouts sorted
Gymies creates the invoices for your clients on your behalf and pays you out every month on the first working day.
A profile you can share
You get your own profile page with your sports, rate, location and availability, plus a share link and QR code.
The cancellation rules your client sees up front
- Within 15 minutes of booking: You cancel for free and get everything back.
- Up to 24 hours before the session: You get the session amount back, or the session back on your class pack.
- Within 24 hours of the session: You get nothing back.
- If the trainer cancels: You always get everything back.
What Gymies doesn’t do
- Gymies doesn’t arrange permits or permission to train in public spaces. You arrange that yourself with the municipality or the landowner.
- Gymies doesn’t offer monthly memberships or unlimited training for your participants; it does offer single sessions, class packs and group classes.
Worked example
You give 6 outdoor personal training sessions a week at €40. Over 4 weeks, excl. VAT:
| 24 sessions × €40 | €960 |
| Commission on your rate | €0 |
| Pro plan | − €64.99 |
| Service fees 24 × €0.49 | − €11.76 |
| What you keep | €883.25 |
An example with your own numbers and rate; you set your price. Costs for the court, pool or studio and your own taxes aren’t included. You can also pass the service fees on to your clients. Prices of the Pro plan and the service fees come straight from Gymies.

When do participants pay for a bootcamp?
Only once the minimum number of participants has signed up and the session goes ahead. If it doesn’t, nobody pays anything.

Then everyone who already paid gets everything back. If you cancel while people have signed up, the rules for group classes in the terms apply.
Which plan do I need for bootcamp?
