Safety

Checked trainers
Every trainer is checked by Gymies before their profile goes live. Trainers list their own qualifications and experience.
Reviews from real clients
Only clients who had a session with the trainer can leave a review.
Your address stays yours
A profile only shows the area where the trainer trains. You see the exact training address only after a paid booking.
Talking in the app
Your messages with the trainer go through the app. You don’t need to share your phone number.
Check in at the start
At the start of the session you check in with a QR code in the app. That records that the session has started.
Training with a woman
Some trainers only train women. You see this on their profile.
SOS in the app
Feel unsafe during a session? Always call 112 first. With the SOS button in the app you then alert the Gymies team and your emergency contact.
Report and block
Something not right with a trainer or a client? Report it in the app. You can also block someone, so they can no longer message you or book with you.

Gymies Assurance

You only pay for a session that goes ahead

Your booking is confirmed as soon as you have paid.

Does the trainer cancel, or not show up? Then you get the full amount back, including the service fee.

You see the cancellation rules before you book. They are the same with every trainer:

  • Within 15 minutes of booking: You cancel for free and get everything back.
  • Up to 24 hours before the session: You get the session amount back, or the session back on your class pack.
  • Within 24 hours of the session: You get nothing back.
  • If the trainer cancels: You always get everything back.

This assurance only applies when you book and pay through Gymies. If you arrange something outside Gymies, we cannot help you.
