For yoga and pilates teachers
Teaching yoga and pilates, privately or in a small group.
You rent a studio by the hour or teach at home or online. With Gymies your students book a spot and pay up front, and a group class only goes ahead once the minimum is reached.

Sound familiar?
Studio rent by the hour
You pay for the studio, even if only three people come. A class with too few participants costs you money.
Tracking drop-ins and class cards
Who still has classes on their card, who still has to pay? It’s in a notebook or a spreadsheet.
Private lessons at home or online
More and more students want a private lesson at home or via a screen. Planning and payment then go by message.
Last-minute cancellations
A spot that frees up at the last minute rarely gets filled.
How Gymies handles it
Group classes with a minimum
You choose a price per person and the minimum and maximum number of participants. Participants only pay once the minimum is reached; if the class doesn’t go ahead, nobody has paid.
So you know before the class whether the studio rent is covered. If the class is full, students can join the waitlist.
How a group class works →Class packs
Sell a pack of, say, 10 sessions. The client pays up front and then books each session with the pack.
A pack of, say, 10 classes, paid up front and valid for 12 months.
You choose where you teach
In a private studio, a gym, outdoors, at the client’s home or online. Clients see the location before they book.
Online classes and classes at the student’s home are included.
Paid when booked
A session is only confirmed once it’s paid (iDEAL, card or class pack). No more chasing anyone for money.
Fixed cancellation rules
The same rules apply to every trainer, and the client sees them before booking.
Recurring sessions
Does a client come at the same time every week? Set it up once as a recurring session.
Women only, if you want
Are you a female trainer who only trains women? Turn it on in your profile. Gymies then only lets women book with you.
Invoices and payouts sorted
Gymies creates the invoices for your clients on your behalf and pays you out every month on the first working day.
The cancellation rules your client sees up front
- Within 15 minutes of booking: You cancel for free and get everything back.
- Up to 24 hours before the session: You get the session amount back, or the session back on your class pack.
- Within 24 hours of the session: You get nothing back.
- If the trainer cancels: You always get everything back.
What Gymies doesn’t do
- Gymies doesn’t offer monthly memberships or unlimited classes for your students; it does offer single classes, class packs and group classes.
- Gymies doesn’t rent out studios. You arrange the space yourself.
Worked example
You give 8 private yoga lessons a week at €55. Over 4 weeks, excl. VAT:
| 32 sessions × €55 | €1,760 |
| Commission on your rate | €0 |
| Pro plan | − €64.99 |
| Service fees 32 × €0.49 | − €15.68 |
| What you keep | €1,679.33 |
An example with your own numbers and rate; you set your price. Costs for the court, pool or studio and your own taxes aren’t included. You can also pass the service fees on to your clients. Prices of the Pro plan and the service fees come straight from Gymies.
