Sound familiar?

A series of lessons for one date

A wedding couple wants five lessons before the wedding. You now plan and settle each of them separately.

Studio rent and a half-empty group

You rent the studio, but the group is only half full. Then the class doesn’t pay off.

Students who decide per lesson

Those who decide per lesson come less often. A fixed series works better, but is hard to arrange.

Paying afterwards

Asking for money after the lesson feels awkward, and it gets left.

How Gymies handles it

Class packs

Sell a pack of, say, 10 sessions. The client pays up front and then books each session with the pack.

For a first dance: sell a pack of, say, 5 lessons. The couple pays up front and plans the lessons themselves.

Group classes with a minimum

You choose a price per person and the minimum and maximum number of participants. Participants only pay once the minimum is reached; if the class doesn’t go ahead, nobody has paid.

The group goes ahead once the minimum is reached, so you know before the class whether the studio rent is covered.

How a group class works →

Paid when booked

A session is only confirmed once it’s paid (iDEAL, card or class pack). No more chasing anyone for money.

Fixed cancellation rules

The same rules apply to every trainer, and the client sees them before booking.

Recurring sessions

Does a client come at the same time every week? Set it up once as a recurring session.

You open up the times

You set in your calendar when you teach. Clients only choose from those times, so no more back-and-forth messaging.

You choose where you teach

In a private studio, a gym, outdoors, at the client’s home or online. Clients see the location before they book.

Invoices and payouts sorted

Gymies creates the invoices for your clients on your behalf and pays you out every month on the first working day.

The cancellation rules your client sees up front

  • Within 15 minutes of booking: You cancel for free and get everything back.
  • Up to 24 hours before the session: You get the session amount back, or the session back on your class pack.
  • Within 24 hours of the session: You get nothing back.
  • If the trainer cancels: You always get everything back.

What Gymies doesn’t do

  • Gymies doesn’t sell tickets for shows or parties.
  • Gymies doesn’t rent out studios. You arrange the space yourself.
